Rentdial

Privacy notice

Last updated 2026-11-02.

The short version

Rentdial stores nothing you upload. Your tenancy list, your details and your tenants' details are used to work out the dates and draw the PDF in memory, and are gone as soon as the response is sent. They are never written to a database, a file or a log. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers on this site.

Who is responsible

The data controller is RDZZ LTD (company number 14352914), 483 Green Lanes, London, England, N13 4BS. For anything in this notice, email privacy@rentdial.co.uk.

Your tenancy list

When you click “Work out every notice” or download a pack, your browser sends the list and your details to our server over an encrypted connection. The server reads them, works out each notice, and sends back the result. If you are a landlord or agent, you remain the controller of your tenants' data; Rentdial processes it only to produce the notices you asked for, and keeps none of it. The site is hosted by Vercel, which acts as our processor and carries the request; requests are handled in London.

To stop abuse, the server keeps a short-lived count of requests per IP address in memory for one minute. It is not written anywhere and is not linked to anything you upload.

If you email us

If you email us, for example to buy a licence, we keep the email and your licence record to provide the licence and support, and for six years after it ends for tax and accounting. The lawful basis is the contract with you, and our legal obligations.

If we contacted your business

If you run a letting agency or property business, we may have emailed your published business address once about Rentdial. We keep the organisation name, the business address we used, where we found it, when we wrote and any reply. The basis is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) in telling businesses about a service relevant to their work. We send at most one follow-up, and delete these details 12 months after our last contact if nothing comes of it. Reply “no” or email privacy@rentdial.co.uk and we will stop and keep only a minimal record so we don't contact you again.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Email privacy@rentdial.co.uk and you will get a reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
